When creating something, you may often question whether it is good or bad, interesting or not. As a child you thought everything you made was great, didn’t you? I certainly did.
What happened? You turn 25 and suddenly everything you create is shit? Nobody find it interesting?
I started to photograph on a regular basis when I was 18. At that time it was fun. I was an explorer, conqueror and even God. I created. I was a talent. I shot some great photos and many bad. I only remembered the great ones.
Now, 14 years later it’s still fun. I still explore, but I rarely conquer and never play God. It’s too risky! Better play safe. That’s my number one enemy talking. Why do I listen? Do you listen?
Everybody have self-doubt. Even the successful ones. What do they do?
They push themselves.
